Right now, 25 percent of all Americans are regularly taking sleeping pills, with $18 million being spent on prescription drugs and an additional over $600 million spent on over-the-counter pills. Not only do these figures emphasize the seriousness of the insomnia problem but how drug-oriented our society has become.
When we are talking about the media, it comes down to this question: do they create the consciousness of the people or is the consciousness of the people merely being reflected by the media?
The fact is that practically everyone watches TV and reads the newspapers; therefore, the media is in a position to influence. They are just as much leaders of the society as the politicians, schoolteachers, priests, etc.
With all the scams thrust upon us via the mainstream media and Nancy Pelosi, where do find the truth? Interestingly enough, I found two articles that blew my mind.
So, here goes.

USA Today ran an interesting series of articles on our ridiculous health care system or should I say our “disease care” system. While more and more Americans concerned with the increasing costs of the U.S. health care system, hawked as the best medical care in the world, the problem is that those that cannot afford it are steadily increasing.
We are living in a sick world and it might be a good time to go vegan and definitely read labels. I just read and article in the newspaper that blew my mind. It was entitled,
Bugs in your food? Might be on purpose!
The article was written by Sean Rossman of USA TODAY and it dealt with CRICKETS and other edible insects pegged as the new food trend. Check it out.

So, I’m reading the local “lamestream” media newspaper the other day and saw this article that blew my mind., because it goes way beyond their advertising dollars. Here goes:
